Meet Rev. Linda Wygant
Food Pantry Partnerships
Pastor Linda Wygant founded Grace Seeds Ministry, a PBMR partner in the fight against food insecurity in Chicago. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, low income families in Back of the Yards and beyond are facing unprecedented challenges finding and securing nutritious meals and have visited food pantries more frequently. The Urban Farm has contributed weekly to food pantries and anti-hunger programs such as Grace Seeds in an attempt to alleviate food shortage burdens for community members. In the following video, Pastor Linda tells how PBMR has helped feed families in the extended community.
