Our Mission

Just Peace aims to create a community network with the capacity to respond to and prevent acts of harm and violence in restorative and healing ways.

"The better we know our neighbors,

and the more tools we have to address hurt,

the better we can take care of each other."

Restorative Justice is a philosophy and set of practices, grounded in Indigenous teachings focused on being in good relationship first, and healing when relationships are hurt. 

When someone causes harm, Restorative Justice gives us a way of addressing it, without causing more harm. Caring for the victim, by allowing the people with the most at stake to address the conflict.
