YOUTH & YOUNG ADULTS
We accompany the youth of our neighborhood navigate the complex realities of living in Chicago. To counter community violence and lack of opportunity, PBMR strives to be a safe space where young people can eat, share, and find hope to move toward their bright futures.
SYSTEM-IMPACTED
MEN AND WOMEN
We accompany our neighbors through incarceration and beyond. People returning from incarceration often lack institutional and community support. We offer a network of aid to ensure everyone can find a new beginning beyond harm.
MOTHERS & FAMILIES
We accompany mothers and families who are impacted by violence and incarceration. For every young person killed by violence, a whole family is left with trauma and grief. PBMR creates space for the women of our neighborhood to sit in circle and find healing in community.
